Where does the name, "Mike The Janitor", come from?
Mike The Janitor hails from a little town in Utah called Salt Lake City. His parents were a simple folk, Marcia The Maid and Carl The Custodian. When Mike was a little lad he had dreams and aspirations to become either A:) a janitor or B:) a radio personality. Luckily, as time went on and Mike grew older, he became both... sorta. The name "Mike The Janitor" stems from the third commercial radio station Mike ever worked for, 94.9 KZHT in Salt Lake City, Utah. The man who knighted him with such a catchy name was Adam Smasher. The story goes that during the interview process between Adam and Mike, Adam was asking Mike what kind of radio name he wanted to use on the air. Mike was coming up blank. Around this time, Adam started to show Mike the in's and out's of the equipment in the studio and how to operate it. At this point, it was apparent that Mike had got the job. As Mike learned the equipment, Adam happened to accidently knock over a large trash can in the studio. As the trash can spilled garbage all over the floor, Adam said: "I wonder what time the janitor is coming in because I'm not cleaning this shit up!" With that, a light bulb went off over Adam's head. He turned to Mike and said: "OH MY GOD! THAT'S IT! We'll call you 'Mike The Janitor'! You'll be doing the overnight shift and we can make the listeners think you're the actual janitor cleaning up the studios AND sneaking on the air to do a show, too!" The rest, they say, is history.
Where has Mike The Janitor worked?

Mike The Janitor is a radio legend in his own mind. With an I.Q. of 33 and sexy good looks, it's no wonder he is so well NOT known. Ask anyone about Mike The Janitor, and you'll hear such comments as: "Who?", "Oh yeah... he's a no talent hack!" Could Mike The Janitor make a comeback? What the hell is the guy up to now?
