You don't read very much , do you Torahc?  President Bush may have used the term, that does not mean he originated it....( see Mike's definition)......Despite what a particular Muslim may be offended by,  there are Muslims who are Islamic and want to conquer the whole western world and they are Facist like....They have said this out of their own mouths and have been for years....They are a considerable chunk of the Muslim population and do not care what you think.  They are out to kill you and me, or convert us or both. 
    So, you care more about hurting some unknown's sensativity, rather than having sympathy for the people who were killed while they were just and work one day?  And have you no feelings for they fact that they tried to destroy our whole government....and that they say this is just the beginning?

I don't want to get in the middle but I feel the need to point out three things.

1. The Wikipedia article does point out that the term didn't originate in the Bush administration.  So, that was not accurate.  It does tend to be used mostly by conservatives, and is often associated with the war, but "Islamic Fascism" was first used in the 90's.

2. Nothing in what torahc said suggests a lack of feelings toward the victims of the World Trade Center attacks.  We all felt, and still feel, terribly about what happened.  Let's not cloud a minor argument on semantics with extraneous emotional accusations.  One can argue the appropriateness of the term without slighting the victims of the attacks. 

3. I'd bet a week's pay that if politicians and the press referred to Hitler a "Christianofascist" or a "Jesufascist" back in the day, there would have been similar arguments from the Vatican.
