hey! i'm back...kinda. i'm trying anyway! lol in any case, just wanted to drop in =)

Yeaaahhhh, I dunno. AfroCelt Sound System was actually better to watch then just to hear. I mean, I liked the cd, but I didn't want to listen to it repeatedly and it's not still in my rotation. They have like 20 cds out, so I'm sure the sound differs from one to another (the one I got was one of their earlier ones). I guess my thing is, they're a whole lot of Celt and very little Afro, and I'm a djembe player so I was excited about the African sound and just didn't feel like it was very evident. So, sure, I'd say check them out, you probably wouldn't find yourself missing the African percussion you were expecting (like I was), and the songs ARE really great Celtic fusion stuff.

We could have alot of smokin fun with the electrical collars...Dinner anyone?

Hey, I just realized something that you'd probably like to know.  Maybe you did already, maybe not, who knows.  If you go to People+Shows and do a Shows search with no criteria (to return all posts), and go AAAAAALL the way to the last page (56 currently - you can cheat by tweaking the URL once you're on the second page), it will reveal that you had the first post on WildVoice (I think there might have been some test posts earlier, but they were deleted, so yours is the first real post.  That's worth some sort of gloatfest.  :)
